We are pleased to present Language of Color, an exhibition featuring the work of Ukrainian artists and father-and-son duo Roman Opalinski and Taras Opalinski.
Through their distinct artistic approaches, Roman and Taras Opalinski explore the expressive power of color, texture, and form. Their works invite viewers to experience art beyond words and to discover the emotions, ideas, and stories that can emerge through the language of visual expression.
Roman Opalinski draws inspiration from Byzantine art, Ukrainian folk traditions, and the landscapes of his homeland. His distinctive works on wood bring together rich textures, symbolic imagery, and dreamlike atmospheres, creating a unique artistic world where traditional influences meet a contemporary sensibility.
Taras Opalinski draws inspiration from Christian faith, people, and their personal stories. Through color, texture, and form, he seeks to encourage reflection and inner dialogue, inviting viewers to pause and consider the deeper meanings behind the work.
Language of Color offers an opportunity to experience the distinctive artistic visions of Roman and Taras Opalinski and to discover how color can convey emotion, spirituality, memory, and meaning without words.
