Talia Koval was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and immigrated to the United States 25 years ago. She began painting en plein air, outdoors, capturing landscapes of her hometown in Kyiv.  Early in life she learned about the value of observation and quick painting techniques as she studied the changes of light and four seasons.  Talia obtained a BS degree from the University of California in Berkley in Interdisciplinary Study of Psycholinguistics. Later, she attended School of the Arts and began to collaborate and study with local and international artists including:  Ian Ross, Diedre Shibano, Mark Brown and Sergiy Ivanov.

“Ukrainian Spirit-Beyond Borders” is a series inspired by the artist’s trip to Ukraine where she explored various regions, researched Ukrainian Mythology, and studied painting in L’viv under a nationally acclaimed artist

Her artwork has been sold internationally and she has exhibited across the United States. Today, Talia is known as one of the most vibrant Live Painters in the USA.

Наталя народилася у Києві і переїхала до США в десятирічному віці. Вона навчалася у Школі Мистецтв в Сан-Франциско і отримала диплом психолингвіста зі знаменитого університету Berkeley. Також проходила студії у відомого українського художника Сергія Іванова.

У даний час Наталя повністю зосередилася на мистецтві, виконуючи роботи для приватних колекцій, розписуючи фрески, а також працює в режимі “наживо” (Live Painting), переносячи особливі події – весілля, модні покази та інші урочистості на полотна просто під час заходу. Наталя займається і викладанням уроків малювання для дорослих та дітей.
